They say the greatest blessing one can receive is the grace of the Divine Mother, especially when walking the path of Śakti Sādhana.
Yet, as a devotee, one must realize—yes, it is solely by Her will that Her kṛpā descends. But true fulfillment of that blessing comes when the Divine Father steps forward, resting His hand gently upon your head. He knows the depth of your bond with the Mother, a connection beyond measure, beyond comprehension.
In truth, both the Divine Mother and Father rarely reveal their deepest emotions to the aspirant—for to them, the seeker is but a child. Yet, when the fire of determination burns bright within, when the aspirant embraces tapasya for a higher cause, it is the Mother who first bestows Her blessings, spontaneously, naturally.
One need only look to the stories of the Purāṇas or even to more recent times—the intense austerities of Swami Vivekānanda and his band of seekers. Why such trials?
Because the very foundation of the universe is built upon Ṛta, the cosmic order. And Dharma, in its highest, purest form, will test the aspirant to limits unknown, unseen.
But when the seeker endures—undaunted by pain, undistracted by suffering, unshaken by the world’s ridicule—there comes a moment when the Father's hand finally descends. And yet, it is not to shield, nor to comfort, nor even to support.
For both Mother and Father wish for but one thing—to see you stand on your own.
Because that… is the way of the eternal bond.
